9/25/12 - Pitlock is a 6-foot, 170-pound athletic right-handed pitcher. He throws from a high ¾ arm action with easy effort and clean arm action. His delivery is very athletic and rhythmic. Pitlock showed excellent feel for every pitch with above average explosiveness. Pilock's displayed the ability to control his fastball, consistently sitting at 84-86 mph. His curveball (69-70 mph) had great feel with 11/5 action, exhibiting some sharp downward action with two plane movement. His changeup also showed excellent feel at 73-76 mph with some arm side run and sink. Both changeup and curveball have a chance to be excellent pitches with late life.

6/14/12 Pitlock is a 6-foot, 170-pound shortstop who impressed with his fluid actions up the middle. Pitlock exhibited smooth feet and soft hands, taking a good approach to the baseball and playing through the ball well. He continued to impress with his arm strength (84 mph) across the diamond, showing life and accuracy on his throws. Offensively, Pitlock has a quiet swing, keeping his hands inside the ball. He maintained excellent balance through contact and sprayed line drives to all fields.
Pitlock is a projectable 5-foot-10, 140-pound middle infielder who impressed with his all-around tools. Defensively, Pitlock showed off his arm by firing 83-mph strikes across the infield. He also demonstrated advanced defensive actions, moving with rhythm and purpose while taking excellent paths to the baseball. Offensively, Pitlock showcased a level , line drive-producing swing. He possesses quick, athletic hands and is mechanically very sound. Pitlock, who ran a 7.43 60, has a projectable, long-limbed body type, and should continue to improve as he physically develops.
