Defensively, impressed more in the outfield throwing 81 mph from long over the top arm slot, wraps ball in back of arm swing. Behind the plate, showed arm strength at 80 mph from the crouch, pop times ranging from 2.07-2.16, but struggled with accuracy. Ran a 7.34 60.

8/9/14 - 5-foot-11, 185-pound left-handed hitting outfielder hits from a wide, balanced setup, no stride, lifts heel to load lower half, hands held high, very little movement in load, with opposite field tendencies and 80 mph exit velocity.  Defensively, threw 80 mph from the outfield from short, over the top arm slot.  Ran a 7.23 60, 4.51-4.55 seconds to first on two separate ground outs during game action.  Finished 1-for-5 with a hard hit single up the middle in very first at bat of game play.

11/2/13 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound left handed hitting multi-positional player. At the plate hits from a balanced setup, smooth loading action, quality plate coverage. Keeps his hands in well, inside out swing, quality extension, creates barrel whip. Exit velocity off a tee was 81 mph. From behind the dish has a quality setup. Arm works at 71 mph from the crouch. From the outfield his arm works at 75 mph. Ran a 7.5 60.

9/9/12 Given is a 5-foot-10, 160-pound left-handed hitting outfielder who showed solid whip through the zone.  Defensively, Given was clocked at 67 mph from the outfield.  Additionally, Given ran a 7.4 60.
