3.17.17 - Cisco JC commit. 6-foot-4, 220-pound left-handed pitcher, solid pitcher’s frame, athletic type. Loose clean arm with life, high ¾ slot. Fastball is firm, showed natural cut, touched 90 in the first, sat 87-88 mph, settled in at 85-86 mph for the remainder. Curveball thrown hard and aggressively, 75-78 mph, 1/7 plane, can back off of it for strikes and gets more aggressive for swing and misses. 3.2 IP, 0R, 3H, 9K, 0BB

12.16.14 - 6-foot-3, 175-pound left-handed pitcher boasts ideal, athletic pitcher’s frame. Rimac sat 74-77 mph with his fastball back in June at the 2017 Prospect Games, with a clean, easy high ¾ arm slot. This past weekend he sat 79-81 mph in a bullpen setting. Rimac could end up one of the more highly recruited left-handers in the 2017 class if he continues to progress as he has already. Also flashed a 67-70 mph change, and a 64 mph curveball with 1/7 shape.

7/14/14 - 6-foot-3, 170-poundtwo-way player; athletic, projectable frame with plenty of room for continued physical development. Left-handed pitcher with clean, easy arm action, high three-quarter slot, works across body, maintains good tempo and rhythm throughout athletic delivery. Fastball ranged between 74-77 mph with significant arm-side run. More velocity should come with few minor mechanical tweaks. Changeup ranged between 69-72, while curveball registered 60-61; recorded a strikeout with each secondary pitch. Also showed well offensively. Has athletic left-handed swing; hits from open setup and demonstrated good rhythm and timing in box. In game action, took several highly competitive at-bats, including one in which he fouled off five pitches before singling sharply up the middle to drive in two runs. Recorded 78 mph exit velocity and was clocked at 72 mph across the infield at first base. High follow prospect in the 2017 class.
