8/9/14 - 5-foot-9, 160-pound left handed hitting outfielder. Defensively showed natural action in the outfield, plays through the baseball, clean exchange. Arm plays from over the top slot, loose action, works uphill out of a crowhop. Left handed hitter, balanced stance, short stride, strong balance through contact. Mechanically sound, repeats swing, athletic hands, contact hitter, short path with middle to opposite field approach. 81 mph exit velocity from the tee. 4.51 runner down the line.
6/19/14 - 5-foot-9, 160-pound left handed hitting outfielder. Offensively hits from a slightly open stance, consistent loading action, short stride, maintains balance through contact. Adequate bat speed, line drive gap to gap approach, stays inside the baseball, occasional lift and back side collapse. Defensively showed a short over the top arm action, 85 mph from an aggressive crowhop. Plays through the baseball, natural actions, clean exchange. 7.15 runner in the 60.

7.17.13 - 5-foot-9, 155-pound left-handed hitting outfielder and third baseman d. Long release and arm action but throws were made at 76 mph across the diamond. Flashed line-drive abilities with pull tendencies and some bat speed at the plate. Hits from a balanced setup with athletic rhythm – uses a short stride swinging on an uphill plane, maintaining some balance throughout. Diehl ran a 7.2 60 at the showcase. 

6.11.13 - Diehl is a 5-foot-9, 155-pound left-handed hitting third-baseman and outfielder.  Ran a 7.25 60.  Works hard defensively showing max effort and aggressiveness.  Threw 79 mph from the outfield and 74 mph across the infield.  Showcased a solid swing at the plate with a level plane, full extension, and some whip through the zone.  Recorded an exit velocity of 75 mph.
