5/5/14 - Big bodied sophomore, 6-foot-1, 205-pounds, impressive body has a physical build. Left handed hitting and throwing first baseman. Hits from a tall setup, slightly closed stance, strong gripped setup with slightly higher back elbow. Strong swing shows strength, showed opposite field power with a double to the gap, stayed true off the bat with slight slice. Defensively fields his position adequately, above average action, natural footwork around the bag, slower footed running the bases. Carmody’s size and left handed bat makes him a strong follow in the Class of 2016.

4.21.15 -  Brawny 6-foot-2, 210-pound left-handed hitting first baseman. Strong build, may be thicker than 210, bat speed and strength at impact, 20-plus RBI already on the season according to Marist skipper Kevin Sefcik. Hits from a slightly open setup, high hands, drop slightly to load, uphill bat path, line shot double in second at bat off the wall in center, shot out of a cannon. Defensively, showed short quick arm action, looked good throwing to second quickly on a pick off to first base. Follow bat in the 2016 class.
