1/12/14 - Solid build with strength, 6-foot, 180-pound left handed hitting catcher. Offensively, has short stride, late trigger. Shorter bat path, shows some bat speed, 82 mph exit velocity. Defensively throws 76 mph from the crouch, 2.10-2.15 pop times. Runs a 7.87 60.
6.13.13 - Sturdy build, 5-foot-11, 185-pound left handed hitting catcher. Defensively recorded his best pop time of 2.05. Arm works from a high ¾ slot, short arm action, showed occasional accuracy, 74 mph. Deliberate foot work, 7.58 runner in the 60. Offensively hits from the left side, no load, no stride approach. Lower half lacked involvement, strictly hands approach.

2/17/13 - Stocky build, 6-foot, 175-pound catcher. Defensively recorded pop times of 2.11-2.25, arm shows some strength, 74 mph from the crouch. Offensively hits from the left side, balanced setup, smooth load, short stride, low hands. 79 mph exit velocity from the tee, shows clean bat path, solid left handed hitting catcher.
10/21/12 - Morris is a solid 5-foot-11, 175-pound catcher. Morris showed pop times ranging in the 2.1’s, displaying arm strength of 75 mph from the crouch. Offensively, he hits from a balanced stance using a short stride and bat path to get to contact. Morris also recorded exit speeds of 80 mph from the tee.
10/7/12 - Morris is a strong, athletic catcher; standing 5-foot-11 and weighing 175-pounds, he has the makings of a good catcher’s body. Morris displayed soft hands receiving the ball well. He showed good arm strength (74 mph) resulting in consistent pop times ranging from 2.15-2.25. Swinging from the left side, Morris has a quiet balanced approach using aggressive hands to stay on top and work through the baseball, spraying line drives to all fields.
