2/22/15- 6-foot, 165-pound, right-handed hitting SS/RHP with a lanky, athletic build impressed as future top level defensive shortstop. In the field has a short, loose arm action from a high ¾ arm slot Accurate throws with some carry and soft hands. Quick footwork with a clean exchange. Plays thru the ball with athletic actions.  Threw 73 mph across the infield. At the plate hits from an open stance with a short, leg kick stride. Pull hitter with an uphill swing path and plus bat speed for age. 80 mph exit velocity from a tee. Home to first at 4.77. On the mound works from a ¾ arm angle with a long arm action, and regular effort. Tall and fall delivery with a compact, short leg lift. Level shoulders with a closed landing. Fastball showed cut at 71-73 topping out at 74 mph. Curveball showed 10-4 shape at 65-67 mph. Threw changeup for strikes that showed armside run at 67-68 mph. Will continue to improve with maturity.
