College: Blackhawk JC The last power arm to come out of this Rock Island school was Andrew Doyle, a 2006 PBR first-team All-Stater who signed at Oklahoma and later was an early-round draft. Sharp doesnt quite have Doyles blazing fastball, but his 86-89 mph heater and sharp, two-plane breaking ball has definitely opened a lot of eyes. As a junior, Sharp posted a 6-2 record with a 1.99 ERA. In 67 innings, he struck out 77 and walked 20.
