4.21.18 - 6-foot-2, 180-pound, long, athletically-built, right-handed pitcher. Got the start in the second game of the double-header and threw a complete game. Was efficient in his seven innings of work, throwing 81 pitches, 71% of them for strikes, scattering two hits, one run, none earned, struck out five and walked two. Repeatable delivery, worked with rhythm and slightly across his body with regular effort throughout. Long arm action, gets it back out front, gets extension at times and has some quickness out front. Primarily worked with a fastball/curveball combination. Fastball works straight, occasional cut, pounded the zone and sat 81-84 mph throughout, touched 85 early on. In his seventh and final inning reached back and had 86 in the tank once. Goes to the curveball frequently, good feel, 11/5 action, short break, late action at times, 70-73 mph. Follow 2019 right-handed pitcher.
