Uses the lower half well and maintains balance through contact. Swing has rhythm, level bat path and solid bat speed. Exit velocity was 83 mph off a tee. Defensively, throws with a loose arm from ¾ slot with accuracy, at 76 mph. Ran a 7.41 60.

6.11.13 - Thomas is a 5-foot-7, 170-pound left-handed hitting middle infielder and third baseman who showed some pop and good power at the plate, with an exit velocity at 84 mph.  Hits in a balanced setup and shows good balance throughout the swing.  Defensively, displayed good, soft-receiving hands, and his arm across the infield showed good carry at 80 mph.  Ran a 7.2 60.  Power is sure to improve with longer extension.
