On the mound his delivery has some rhythm and above average effort. Arm works short, from a high ¾ slot with some looseness. Had feel for his fastball, throwing it 74-77 mph for strikes. Also showed feel for his changeup, throwing it 65-68 mph with deceptive fading action. His curveball was 57-60 mph with 11/5 shape and gradual action.
