5.22.17 - Bradley commit. Currently ranked No. 25 in the Illinois’ 2017 class and No. 397 overall. 6-foot-2, 180-pound, long-armed left-handed pitcher. On the mound, quick arm action, from a high ¾ arm slot. Methodical delivery, works on-line, excellent balance at leg lift, varied the speed and timing of his leg kick from the stretch; allowed him to completely control the run game. Faced command issues early on, but settled in after first inning. Fastball, straight, received numerous late swings, sat 87-89 mph, touching 90 occasionally. Slider, good depth, commanded to his arm-side and mixed in effectively with fastball, gained confidence and feel as the outing went along, 70-73 mph. Went 5.0 innings, picked up the win, scattered three hits, allowed one run, none earned, struck out six and walked three.
8.2.16 - Verbally committed to Bradley.
4.25.16 - Ranked No. 23 in the Illinois class of 2017, No. 208 overall. 6-foot-2, 175-pound left-handed pitcher with a well-proportioned, strong frame. Cross fire delivery, adding some deception for the hitter; foot below knee at balance point, level shoulders, hands break late, lands closed and head gets off-line. Struggled to repeat. Arm had a tendency to drag. Quick, loose arm action out of a high ¾ window. Fastball flashed life, inconsistent action and was effectively wild; cutting action to his glove side at times, mostly straight to his arm side, sat 84-88 mph. Curveball worked between 12/6 and 11/5, short break, flashing depth at times, some feel and clocked at 69-72 mph. Did not show a changeup in game. Uncommitted, strong armed left-hander, struck out five in 2.2 innings. Game was called in the third due to lightning. Final Line: 2.2 IP, 0H, 0R, 5K, 6BB.
2.14.16 - 6-foot-2, 170-pound left-handed pitcher, lean strong body with long torso. Big arm strength left-hander with well above average changeup as best secondary. Tall and fall type delivery, some effort, slightly offline to third base side. Quick strong arm, long loose action, high ¾ slot. Showed plus fastball velocity for his age, sat 89-90 mph, slight arm side run. Curveball has potential, thrown with arm speed, 70-73 mph, tight short action. Changeup plays with sink, 78-80 mph, good action, outpitch potential, occasionally gets underneath. High follow uncommitted 2017.
10.2.15 - 6-foot-1, 175-pound athletically built left-handed pitcher. Quick, loose arm action and a repeatable delivery. Worked from a high 3/4 slot and flashed three pitches for a strike. Threw all three pitches in any count. Fastball sat 82-85 mph with life and plus arm-side-run at times. Feel for a curveball and thrown for strikes, 12/6 shape and ranged between 66-71 mph. Confidence in change-up. Got a couple quick outs throwing first pitch change-ups to right-handed hitters. Thrown with fastball arm speed and sat 75-77 mph.
4.8.15 - 6-foot, 160-pound, left-handed pitcher with a lanky frame. Works from a high ¾ arm angle with a short, loose, quick arm action. Toe down at balance point. Tall and fall online delivery. Downhill shoulders, occasionally leaks to front side early. Square landing with a slight recoil. Worked mostly with a fastball at 80-83 mph on a brutally cold day. Left-handed arm to follow.
