2/16/15 - Nast is a 5-foot-8 175-pound right-handed pitcher in the 2018 class. Nast is strong and athletic with a quick arm on the mound.  Throws with some effort, working fastball at 79-81 mph, with some run, works the knees.  Curveball has 11-to-5 shape, 66-70 mph, change-up 71-73 mph, near fastball arm speed.  He stays inline as he gets down mound, and accelerates during his delivery. At the plate, athletic stance, smooth load, level path to extension, fast bat speed, gap-to-gap approach, produces back spin on ball, defensively, fluid footwork and exchange, high three-quarters release, 75 mph across diamond, accurate throws.

7/9/14 - 5-foot-8, 172-pound strong right-handed hitting catcher impressed as one of the Metro East Open’s top 2018 prospects.  Hits from a wide balanced setup with smooth hand load, short stride, and a plus, short, level bat path to the baseball producing 79 mph exit velocity.  Defensively, showcased a short, over the top, accurate arm on throws to second base with pop times ranging between 2.33-2.40 at 65 mph from the crouch.  Ran a 7.61 60.
