9/18/16- Henter has been up and down over the last year and a half with nagging injuries. With a lower mid ¾ arm slot; Henter was consistently 80-83 mph with above avg. run and sink. He looks to back on track, continuing to progress, and it’s hard to walk away from 6’6, 230-pound arms that throw strikes.

8/4/15- 6-foot-6, 215-pound right-handed pitcher. Good body control and repeats very well for size. Has feel for 3 pitches. Fastball shows late sinking action at 74-78 mph. Tended to be on side of breaking ball at this event causing sideways spin with minimal action. Solid changeup feel at the bottom of zone. Considerable upside with body and feel for pitching. Will need to add additional strength and add velocity.
6-foot-6, 215-pound 2-way player. 8.35 60 time. Right-handed hitter with low hand set, double tap inline stride, and uphill swing plane. Produces some strength with long levers. 80 mph exit velocity. Defensively shows adequate actions and ability to play first base. Big target at bag with good feet receiving throws. Very projectable prospect on mound with present pitchability. Controlled delivery with rhythm. Slight collapse at balance point. Loses some leverage and drive. Inline stride and lands closed to plate. Shoulder tilt on delivery with long clean arm circle. Throws 4 pitches for strikes consistently right now. Fastball was 77-78 at this event with heavy action down in zone. Two weeks previously 82-83 in game action. Curveball has 11/5 shape with late break and tight rotation. Advanced feel for changeup. Comes out of hand very easy to spots. Split is average pitch with wobbly flat action. Overall high follow for 2017. Very few pitchers his age and size show the ability he does to consistently repeat mechanics with ability to pitch. Velocity to come.
