Easy active load, leg kick trigger, out front at contact, flashes pop in bat, showed ability to drive baseball to oppo gap, 89 mph exit velocity. 83 mph arm strength with 1.94-2.03 pop times. Has above avg. flexibility behind plate, receives with soft hands, quick transfer and release, drives baseball downhill with carry and accuracy to bag. Shows lateral mobility, gets glove down first to block, and has quick feet to back pick during game action.
3/13/16- 6-foot-1, 205-pound left-handed hitting catcher. Wide strong build. 7.47 60 time. Solid present strength. Leg kick trigger. Flashes pop to pull side of field. Above avg. bat that should improve with greater extension through hitting zone. Pull approach. 90 mph exit velocity. Solid receiver to glove side. Needs to increase mobility across body. Longer exchange but makes up for it with above avg. arm. Avg. accuracy to bag. 2.07 pop time with 80 mph arm strength. Overall very good raw tool set. Should continue to improve with game action and competition.

Stays on and through baseball well at contact. Flashes power to pull-side of field. 87 mph exit velocity off tee. Good flexibility in lower half. Throws have above average carry and velocity to second base. Solid accuracy and online. Clean repeatable release with momentum on throws. Also shows ability to receive. 77 mph arm strength with 1.95 pop time.
Preseason All-State 3/15/15
6-foot, 200-pound left-handed hitting catcher. Ran a 7.82 60. Closed stance. Dives into plate. Was off time offensively at this event. Made improvements in many areas since last event in August 2014. Has gained 20 pounds since then and continues to make strides in his development. Showed better carry and improved pop time significantly. Solid accuracy to bag with pop times ranging 2.09-2.10.
Underclass Prospect Games August 2014
6-foot-0, 180-pound catcher.  5.1 home to first time.  Left handed hitter, flat bat to start, minimal stride, creates bat speed, pull approach, hard pull side contact, level swing, quiet head, took good swings throughout day.  78 mph exit velocity off tee.  Defensively, good flexibility, strength in glove receiving, moves well with pitches.  Has blocking ability.  Tries to load too much while throwing.  Pop times of 2.25-2.4 and velocity of 75 mph.  Release becomes slow and long.  Interesting prospect with small refinement in hitting and throwing.
