3/5/15 - Florida signee. 5-foot-11, 185 pound infielder with a lean athletic body. Avg type actions and hands with an avg ML arm. Aggressive routes and angles. Comes and gets the ball. Avg type range. Will be more suited for 2B down the road. Quick bat with very good hand eye. Stays inside ball. Has good plate coverage and uses the whole field. Very good bunter. Aggressive on the bases. Very disruptive on the bases. Likes to run. Grinder type make up. Tough kid. Fun to watch. Could become a 2015 draft. 3-7 with 4 stolen bases in 2 game series.
6/26/14 - Liput is a grinder and makes consistent hard contact at the plate. He showed a knack for squaring balls up and his bat stays in the zone. He has solid bat speed and takes a minimal stride at the plate. He showed a strong arm and good actions around second base on double plays.

4/4/18 - 5’9/185, L/R, Junior- Aggressive, left-handed hitting leadoff hitter. Got long and out front, rolling over offspeed pitches, especially the back foot breaking ball. Plus runner who accelerated quickly and showed good instincts. Ran a 4.09 from home to first base on a 4-3 groundout and a 4.06 on an E-4. Average arm and range with sure hands at shortstop. Suspended the first 14 games of the spring season due to an undisclosed reason, clouding his draft value.
