5-foot-10, 170-pound, average athletic frame, hands and wrists have some strength and fast twitch to them. A right-handed hitter, the path to the ball is short and quick. The approach is middle of the field, shows to have above average pop to the full side. The hands are loose and work well through the zone keeps the barrel in the zone a long time. The tee exit velocity was 81 mph, has some fast twitch to him. In the game he collected a single and time down the line was 4.7. Defensively, his arm is very good, short quick powerful arm path. The hands are soft, fields ball out front, feet work well with hands and they continue to move throughout. The arm action is short and quick on the backside, clocked at 80 mph across the diamond with downhill flight to it. Worked out from behind the plate as well, setup is wide, feet are quick. Pop times of 1.97-2.16 and arm was clocked as well at 80 mph from chute. Projects for me as big time sleeper behind the plate, can really throw and hands are soft enough to receive.
