5-foot-9, 170-pound, strong, thick, durable athletic frame. The hands and forearms have above average strength to them, is built solid like a rock. The top tool is his ability to swing the bat and his overall athleticism. A left-handed hitter, the base is wide, is balanced, hands are held at shoulder height. The bat starts in a good quiet position. The lower half is under control, has short stride, steps in at times, the backside could be engaged more, gets no juice from it, everything comes from the hands. The path to the baseball is very good, short, crisp, has down to level to up swing. Showed to have enough pop to beat the outfielders to the pull side, with line drives to the oppo gap. The tee exit velocity was clocked at an easy 82 mph, in game play was good, collecting two hits. Time down the line was good at 4.41. Defensively from the outfield, showed short quick feet, could step through harder and gain more ground. The arm action is short and works out of a ¾ slot, clocked at 77 mph. In the infield, hands looked to be soft, no wasted movement during transfer, could attack the baseball more. The arm action was short clocked at 72 mph. During game play, turned a double play with ease. Projects for me as more of a second baseman in infield and more of left fielder. Big follow, is going to hit at a high level, has a ton left in his game.
Home-First: 4.41
