8.19.18
6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball touched 76 mph, minimal arm side run to the pitch. The spin pitch is 63-65 mph, big in shape. The changeup is developing, 69-70 mph, with minimal fade. The delivery is online with his feet, plus ¾ in slot. The lift is waist high, and the glove comes across the hitters face as he makes his way into foot strike. The tracking needs to stay online with the catcher and bit longer, as he comes off track early. There is small bounce in posture as he goes into his left.

8/201/17

6-foot-1, 200-pound, strong, durable pitchers frame. The lower half has strength to it, back is wide, shows to have a well proportioned frame. A right-handed pitcher, who absolutely floods the zone with strikes. The delivery is simple and compact, leg raise is smooth, gets to a good gather, direction is inline and front glove is strong. The arm action is longer on the backside, works out of a ¾ to high ¾ slot.  The fastball was located down in the zone, with action to the arm side, showed the ability to locate it where he wanted. The velocity on it was 74-76 mph. The breaking ball showed the correct spin and shape, thrown slightly slower, works well off his fastball at 58-61 mph, keeps the hitter off balance. The changeup has circle spin rotation to it, arm side fade, clocked at 67-70 mph. During this outing this was his best secondary pitch. Continued strength training, with a strong throwing program, the velocity seems to be climbing little by little.

6/20/17
6-foot-1, 195-pound, strong, thick durable frame. A well proportioned athletic, lower half has strength to it and the back is wide. A right-handed pitcher, who has a simple, balanced, easy repeatable delivery. The backside lower half stays strong throughout, separates on time and gets squared up to the plate in release. The arm works out of a ¾ to high ¾ slot, arm action has average length to it and wants to open it early on the back side. Pounded the zone with strikes, worked the fastball to both sides. Fastball was clocked to 70-74 mph, breaking ball was clocked at 54-56 mph. Showed a big break, top to bottom to it. Change up was clocked at 67 mph and used solid arm speed to sell it. The tempo was quick, times to the plate are average, at one point 4.5. Continued strength training, a regimented throwing program and potentially making the delivery a bit quicker should help him gain velocity. Still young, has time to develop.

11/2/16
6-foot-1, 195 pounds, large, thick durable pitchers frame. The shoulders are square, lower half is thick, with strength to it. A right-handed pitcher, repeats the delivery without much effort. The direction of lower half is inline, stride could be longer, has a ton more in the arm and in his delivery, needs to finish it off at the end. The lead arm could stay on the target longer, would help in getting him out front more. The arm action is short, clean and the ball comes out of a ¾ to high ¾ slot. The fastball was clocked at 68-71 mph, was down in the zone and showed good run to the arm side. The breaking ball was clocked at 57-59 mph, had 1/7 break, needs to be thrown harder eventually. The changeup was clocked at 64 mph, had some feel for it. Times to the plate are quick at 1.28. During his bullpen session, looked poised and confident, attacked the catcher well. Continued work on finishing the delivery will help in velocity, only a sophomore someone to follow.
