5-foot-7, 130-pound, thin athletic frame, the neck is long, shoulders are sloped, has plenty of room to fill out. A right-handed hitter, his feet are even and are shoulder width apart. The toes are pointed out slightly, the backside lower half could get involved more, has a small leg kick and gains some ground with his stride foot. The hands are set at shoulder height, with the bat starting in a flat position, hands are loose and have separation to them during timing and stride. The swing is level, finishes it just below the shoulders with two hands. The approach is more to the pull side, the barrel could stay in the zone longer, wants to roll the hands quick. Defensively, worked out up the middle, the prep steps are under control. The feet move throughout, need to be slightly quicker, fields the ball out front, and transfers it to throwing arm, with no hesitation. The arm action is longer is ¾ too high-¾. The arm was clocked at 63 mph across the diamond. Strength and a regimented throwing program are a must, will aide in his development.
