5-foot-10, 155-pound, average athletic frame, has some wiry strength to him. A two way player, played all over the field and played well. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, the stance is slightly open at shoulder width. The hands are held higher than shoulder height and closer to the body. The lower half is under control, for timing uses a small toe tap, gains ground with the stride, its direct. The swing is down to level to up, its short to the ball and gets through it on the backend, finishes with two hands at the shoulders. The tee exit velocity was 75 mph and ran a 4.56 from home to first. Took two good rounds of batting practice. Defensively, showed athletic actions, feet are quick, moves equally well to both sides, the hands are soft fields out front, they work well with his feet. The arm action is a tick longer on the backside, clocked at 74 mph, gets rid of the baseball extremely quick. The glove work was very good in starting the double plays. Off the mound simple delivery, has tempo and timing to it. The direction is inline, could keep front glove online longer, has some small pull to it. The arm is longer on the backside, works out of a natural ¾ slot. The fastball was clokced at 73-76 mph, pitched the baseball at the knees. The breaking ball has some horizontal break to it, clocked at 62-64 mph, late sharp break to it.
