5-foot-8, 160-pound, smaller, strong athletic frame. The neck is long and shoulders are sloped, actions are loose with free movements. A left-handed arm, with an easy repeatable delivery. From the full motion, the hands start and stay at mid-chest during his controlled leg raise. The delivery has timing and builds momentum throughout. The direction is inline, on time and front glove is locked down. The arm action is short, quick and clean, arm works out of a natural ¾ slot. The fastball jumps out of his hand, was clocked in the mid 70’s, has a ton more in there, lived down in the zone. The secondary pitches were thrown for strikes with action to both of them. The change is more of a circle, clocked at 66-67 mph, with fade to arm side. The breaking ball was a 63-65 mph, with 11/5 break, has the hand speed to turn it into more of a slider down the road, could be a swing and miss pitch to both hitters. Times to the plate 1.44, great tempo and attacked the catcher. Good looking left-handed pitcher, with some upside, need to see early and often next spring.
