6-foot-1, 205 pounds, thick, strong, athletic build, well-proportioned. Wide back capable of holding strength. Ran a 4.85 home-to-first. Zanor collected two singles and an RBI during gameplay. In the box, he stands slightly open with feet that set shoulder width apart. A gap-to-gap hitter with decent bat to ball skills, there may be more power on the way. His hands work up at the shoulders and are loose. A pull heavy approach, connected with a few to the right-center gap during batting practice. His left-handed swing can get a little long at times, though he showed two-strike approach in game. Generated an 89 mph exit velocity off the tee. Defensively, Zanor moves well around the first base bag and has soft hands. Throws from a ¾ slot and was clocked at 75 mph on throws across the diamond. Rhythm to double play turns. Shows polish with good intangibles on the field. Overall, Zanor is an interesting 2019 prospect who could see a breakout in Connecticut this season with more development.
