6-foot-3, 192-pound, big, long, strong projectable athletic frame. A right-handed hitter, has a balanced, simple, relaxed stance. The feet are even, slightly wider than shoulder width, hands are loose, start in a good tilted position. For timing uses a short simple stride, hands and weight stay back on stride, the lower half is under control. The swing is flat through the zone, could stay through it a tick longer, finishes the swing off at shoulder height with two hands. The approach is more line drives to the pull side. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 81 mph, with a ton more in there, clocked down the line at 4.56, runs ok for a big kid. In game performance: collected a single and made good contact in other at bats. Defensively, works very well around the bag at first, is a solid target. The feet are clean and crisp on the drop steps in starting the double play. The arm action is short and clean, works out of a natural ¾ slot, clocked at 74 mph across the diamond. Interesting follow, look for the power to come ast he refines the swing, along with gaining strength and more game play.
