5-foot-9, 180-pound, thick, strong athletic frame. A two-way player, top tool is his speed and arm. A right-handed hitter, took two solid rounds of batting practice. The stance is even, slightly wider than shoulder width, hands are loose and are held at shoulder height. The approach is more line drive to the middle of the field. The swing is level through contact, uses the entire body to swing the bat. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 84 mph and ran a quick 4.15 down the line in game play. Defensively, the arm was clocked at 83 mph, feet are very good, short quick steps, gets on top and throws downhill. The arm action is super short and clean, baseball comes out well. Off the mound, fastball reached 84 mph, showed good run to the arm side. The breaking ball was clocked at 71-72 mph, downward break to it, it's hard with tight spin. The command needs to improve, stride is short, which gets him racing out front, needs to stay back a tick longer to get arm on time. Projects for me as a top of the order time hitter, can handle the bat.

5-foot-9, 180-pound, strong, smaller athletic frame. The legs, hands and wrists have strength to them, is put together well, has some fast twitch actions to him. A right-handed hitting outfielder, the stance is taller, feet are close together, hands are held slightly higher than shoulder height. The swing is very short to the baseball and has some length after contact. The approach is more middle of the field spraying the ball to both gaps. Collected a triple in game play. The legs are average to a tick above clocked at 4.47 from home to first, has an athletic kick with some bounce to him. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 86 mph, the hands have strength and quickness to them. Defensively, arm is above average, more of a shorter arm swing on the back, it's clean with no hesitation, ball comes out well. The transfer, is quick, stride is shorter, gets on top of throws and works downhill. The arm strength has plenty of carry, clocked at 81 mph, showed to have easy effort in making throws, all throws were on target and gave the receiver something to handle. Good follow, added short game will make him that much more valuable.
