8-13-16
A 6-foot-1, 165-pound right hand hitting catcher/RHP who ran a 7.50 60.  At the plate he stands tall and slightly open.  Slow weight transfer to his back side on the pitch.  Hands drop slightly on the swing creating an uphill swing path.  Exit velocity was 82 MPH for this event.  Behind the plate he moves well on balls in the dirt and did a good job of framing pitches.  He throws from a high ¾ arm slot with a 77 MPH arm with accuracy.  On the mound he works quickly and efficient.  He threw 3 innings never needing more that 15 pitches to complete an inning.  Fastball was 77 MPH and he added a 67-69 MPH 11/7 curve ball.

4-24-16
6-foot-1, 165-pound right hand hitting catcher/right-hand pitcher. Tall frame behind the plate with good hands for framing. Arm is long out of the glove with accuracy to second base. Pop time was 2.08.  At the plate he is balanced with his hands high in the zone.  He has a slight load to the back side and hands drop on the swing. He shows good weight transfer and hits off a firm front side. Exit velocity was 83 MPH off the tee. Ran a 7.5 60.
8-8-15
6-foot-1, 160 pounds. Bats and throws right. Lean frame with a lot of potential to get stronger. Has a balanced athletic stance. Short stride starts a minimal load. Level swing through zone with one-handed finish. Stroke is simple and smooth. Sometimes off balance after swing. Generated an 82 mph exit velo off the tee. Contact hitter. Behind the dish had the fastest pop-time at the event at 2.02 off a pitcher coming in at 75 mph and accurate. As a pitcher is a strike thrower. Arm angle is 3/4. Could work on finishing through his front side. Like how he throws off two-feet and is very square to the plate in his delivery. There is some untapped velocity. Fastball was 74 to 75 mph down in the zone. Curve ball had 10/4 tilt at 60 mph. Ran a 7.7 60.
Athletic looking catcher behind plate. Makes good contact. Looks to be a player to follow as he gets stronger. Was hitting leadoff for Ranch. As a pitcher has nice 2 seamer that runs into right handed hitters. Works corners well.
