9/2016 - Made USA 18U National Team.
8/9/16 - Danner has been known for his prowess on the mound, but his ability on offense seems to be catching up. He is typically listed as a catcher on rosters, but usually only works out back there and doesn’t see a lot of game action. In the spring, he caught only a handful of games for Huntington Beach. He didn’t look out of place while catching Greene and we all know he has the physicality and arm strength that it takes to play the position. He was 0-for-1 on Sunday, squaring up a flyout to center field that had an exit velocity of 96.
6/24/16 - Played first base on Thursday, after pitching Wednesday, and went 1-for-4 with an RBI. He hammered a hanging curveball for a triple off the wall in left field.
6/23/16 - Pitched the last two innings for United, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out two. His fastball started out 92-93 and was 90-91 in the second. It has good down angle on it out of a high-3/4 slot. He has a long arm action and was inconsistent with his curveball, but it flashed nearly 12/6 shape and hard break at 78-80. He also mixed in a changeup at 80-84.
8/6/15 - Known more for his exploits on the mound, but he’s a good athlete and can handle the bat too. Though he tends to get stiff with his lower half, he takes a good, easy swing from the right side.
