Uncommitted senior catcher Joey Professori (Pine-Richland, PA) will make the trek to Huntington for the WV Top Prospect Games on August 9 and 10. The 5-foot-8, 175-pound backstop hails from the same high school as Pirates 2B Neil Walker and comes off a solid junior season in which he hit .302. Professori finished with 15 walks, 15 runs scored and an on base percentage of .457.

Professori is also a talented defender having committed just one error in 136 fielding chances in 2014. The senior has shown pop times that hover around 2.0 and a low 70s arm from the crouch. The well rounded athlete also runs a 7.20 60-yard dash.
