Top Stories of 2014: #7 - Elite Eight Team Rankings Introduced

The Elite Eight Rankings were introduced for the first time in 2014 with our preseason polls coming out in late March. Hurricane (3A), Independence (2A) and Notre Dame (1A) were named preseason No. 1 in their respective classifications. The Elite Eight Rankings were updated and released on a weekly basis leading up to the final rankings following the state finals in June.
Following is a look at the final 2014 rankings as well as a link to the preseason version of each poll.
