Jacob Bradley is a 6-foot-2, 195-pound RHP/OF from Nitro HS. He pitched in six games as a freshman in 2013 with two wins in 22.2 innings of work. Bradley has a very projectable power pitcher's frame and a loose arm that indicates added velocity is likely in the coming years. Currently ranked No. 11 in the West Virginia Class of 2016, Bradley showed well a week ago at the annual pro showcase in Morgantown. The sophomore sat 81-83 with a free and easy delivery and some arm side run to his fastball. Bradley flashed the makings of a solid curveball with 11/5 rotation at 69 mph and also commanded a 75 mph changeup.
Bradley has shown steady improvement over the past 18 months, adding 6-8 mph to his fastball. As he continues to mature physically he has the potential to become one of the top recruits in this class. Bradley plays travel baseball with the Huntington Hounds and has had success against quality competition from across the eastern portion of the country.
