The Sissonville Indians struggled to a 13-21 finish in 2013, but there is some silver lining. The young roster that dressed just two seniors went 6-3 over its final nine games and will return 13 players that saw varsity action this spring.
2B/OF Jacob Fisher was right in the middle of that late season success. The 5-foot-7, 160-pound right-handed hitter hit .270 for the season with 28 runs scored, 24 stolen bases and a .420 on base percentage. Currently ranked No. 11 in the WV Class of 2016, Fisher also drove in 15 runs and showed some pop in his bat with a triple and a home run.
