Nitro rallied from a 3-0 deficit with five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to win. Eddie Flores threw the final 2.2 innings in relief to pick up the win. Flores allowed just one hit and recorded all eight outs by strikeout. Shortstop Solomon Shamblin was 2-for-4 with a double, home run and three RBI to ignite the Nitro offense. 1B Dylan Slack also homered, driving in the other two runs.

Houston Hill led the Sissonville offense going 2-for-3 with an RBI. Jacob Fisher was also 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Sissonville falls to 5-6 overall and 2-3 in the region. Nitro improves to 6-3 and 4-0 in region play.
