Zach Minnick, Logan HS, Class of 2015

Minnick has had a breakout summer and fall. The 6-foot, 215-pound C/3B has emerged as a high level recruit and has drawn interest from multiple Division I programs following his performance as a member of Team Pennsylvania at the Under Armour Midwest Future Games in August. Minnick had another solid showing at Alderson Broaddus University turning in pop times of 1.88-1.95 and the top bat exit velocity of the day at 96 mph. Currently ranked No. 1 in WV and No. 19 in the PBR combined rankings for the Class of 2015, Minnick continues to exhibit the arm strength and offensive potential that will draw continued interest from the top programs in the country.

C/2B Travis Renner, University HS, Class of 2014

Renner is an uncommitted senior that showcased pop times of 2.02-2.09 on throws of 70 mph out of the crouch. Renner is a 6-foot, 185-pound right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance. He has very strong wrists and the ball jumps off his bat when barreled as evidenced by his 89 mph bat exit velocity. Renner is a versatile athlete with the ability to play nearly anywhere on the field.

3B/C Lucas Trovato, University HS, Class of 2014

Trovato is a 5-foot-8, 195-pound prospect that showed well despite battling an injury to his leg. The uncommitted senior showcased pop times of 2.15-2.22 on throws of 68 mph out of the crouch. He also showed solid actions at 3B. The right-handed hitter hits from a slightly open stance and has a short swing path to the baseball. Trovato uses a strong lower half to generate barrel whip and a bat exit velocity of 84 mph. He stood out with his performance in game play going 3-for-4 on the day with three singles.
