This week’s Power 25 Rankings saw little changes as most of the state’s top teams took care of business and are gearing up for a playoff run.
Holmen stays undefeated and atop the Power 25. One of only two teams in the state still undefeated, the Vikings beat conference foe La Crosse Central this week notching their best win on their resume.
Stevens Point held on to No. 2 with a double header sweep of Ashwaubenon and look geared up to make a deep run.
No. 3 Hortonville also stayed put and had an undefeated week with five wins racking up an 18-3 record on the year.
No. 8 Sun Prairie took another loss this week dropping one to Oconomowoc as the Cooneys moved up seven spots to No. 17
One of the biggest risers this week is Wilmot going to 18-2 on the year with a big win over Indian Trail. Wilmot moved up seven spots as well and into the top 10 at No. 7.
Three new teams got in this week with Rosholt, Viroqua and Lodi. Rosholt is one of six teams in Wisconsin to surpass the 20-win plateau. Stevens Point, Denmark, Indian Trail, Jefferson, and Lake Country Lutheran have all notched 20 wins.
