The WIAA has recently announced the playoff seedings and pairings for Divisions 2-4. With six teams per regional the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds will receive byes and start their regional action on May 28^th. All other regional games for Divisions 2, 3, and 4 will begin on May 24.

The Division 2 pairings feature a number of interesting matchups. Most notably are possible regional championship matchup between Racine St. Catherine’s (No. 1) and Jefferson (No. 2) as well as another possible regional matchup of Waupun (No. 1) and Watertown Luther Prep (No. 2). For what it’s worth, the high octane offense of Racine St. Catherine’s is my overall favorite, There are very few places to find an out in that lineup coupled with a great one two punch on the mound. Watch out for the Angels down the stretch.
