Unsigned Senior Spotlight: C Peter Krien

Peter Krien is an unsigned senior from Badger HS. Krien is a returning all-conference catcher for the Badgers. In 2012 he hit .387, with 21 Runs, 29 hits, 25 RBI, 3 HR, & 10 doubles.
Coach Zwiefel said, “Besides his hitting, he is our best athlete, one of the fastest kids on the team, and a wall behind the plate for us.”
As a 3-year varsity starter, the 6-foot 185-pound Krien was one of the best players in the conference last year as a junior.
This multi-sport athlete also brings his athleticism to the football field, being named the Conference Offensive Player of the Year, as well as being a first team all-conference quarterback and second team all-conference linebacker.
“He has a good arm behind the plate and is one of the hardest working athletes I've ever had the privilege to work with”, said Coach Zwiefel.
