Unsigned Senior Showcase Preview: Ricky West

The Unsigned Senior Showcase is coming January 24th to The Max in McCook, IL. This event will bring several of the top uncommitted seniors in Illinois and Wisconsin to take part in a pro style workout. Leading up to the event, we will preview several of the top players scheduled to be in attendance.

Scouting Report: 9/20/15 - 6-foot, 185-pound, right-handed hitting first baseman with a strong frame. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top arm slot. Quick clean exchange with good feel for the bag. Threw 74 mph across the infield. Offensively hits from a balanced setup with a short stride and average balance. Pull hitter with a level swing path. Showed strength thru contact with 83 mph exit velocity from a tee. Home to first at 4.77.
