Moving into the top five, we continue our countdown the 2014 calendar year with a look at the top ten viewed profiles of 2014. After drilling down into our google analytics we have compiled a list of the ten most visited profiles by you the reader in 2014.

No. 5 Justin Lavey

Justin LaveyJustin Lavey (Tremper, 2016) has been amidst a trio of prospects who have seen their name on the top spot of the 2016 rankings in Wisconsin. Lavey has been the top ranked 2016 for most of the 2014 calendar year and has consistently been one of the most clicked profiles of 2014. The Louisville commit’s profile peaked in mid-February after his performance at the Milwaukee Preseason I.D. and has gained over 3,500 views this year.

Lavey was the first 2016 in Wisconsin to make his college commitment when he named Louisville as his school of choice in October of his sophomore year. Not only has Lavey been one of the top prospects in Wisconsin but has consistently been a top 50 prospect in our coverage area.

PBR Scouting Report: 2/9/14 - Louisville commit. 6-foot, 180-pound infielder, developed build, advanced strength for age. Offensively hits from a balanced stance, short stride, maintains excellent balance through contact. Bat path is short to the baseball, stays inside the ball, excellent contact point, gets extension. Advanced bat speed, gap to gap approach with some present power and more to come. 87 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively has advanced actions, soft hands, with fluid, fundamentally sound footwork. Runs a 4.15 down the line. Arm action is athletic with plenty of strength to play the left side (83 mph), has carry and accuracy. Lavey is clearly one of the top prospects in the state as well as the region, and is currently ranked No. 1 in his class.
