One of the top two-sport athletes in the Midwest, Schreiber was a coveted arm, but took his time deciding on a commitment because of his football aspirations. Wisconsin’s Gatorade Player of the Year in baseball this year, Schreiber was sitting in the mid 80s in June with a sharp breaking ball and feel for a changeup. He climbed to No. 37 in the Overall Rankings this fall after showing improved velocity at 86-89 mph.

Schreiber committed to Nebraska in November, adding to an already strong class for the Cornhuskers. His curveball sits 72-75 with 11-to-5 action.
