Racine Park Upsets Burlington

BURLINGTON, WI- in the first game of the WIAA playoffs Racine Park upset Burlington 7-5 on Tuesday afternoon.
After three innings, Ben Lehmann found himself and his teammates down 5-1. But, the fourth inning was the turning point for the Panthers. They exploded for four runs to tie the game at five. Lehmann then did his job on the mound limiting the Demons to just four hits the rest of the way.
Park was able to take the lead in the fifth when Michael Molbeck came around to score on an error by the shortstop. The Panthers added an insurance run in top of the seventh on an RBI single from Luke Kinsley.
Racine Park improves to 8-16 on the season and advances to take on Tremper Thursday at 4:30. Burlington finishes the season with a 12-13 record.
