The Wisconsin high school season kicks off on March 31, the first day for regular season games. Most teams will begin practicing on March 23, getting their rosters set and finalizing their lineups. Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day, we will be rolling out team previews of high school teams all across the state and across all classifications, eventually launching our Preseason Power 25.

We have been sending out our annual Preseason Questionnaire to coaches all across the state and as the responses flood in we will bring you a snapshot of what to expect along with top players and keys to success for that particular team.

OUTLOOK

The Angels are coming off of a deep playoff run in 2014 making it to Appleton after capturing a sectional title, eventually losing in the semifinals to 2013 Division 3 champs, Oconto. Coach Blakeley will rely on his team to throw strikes and play defense in 2015. Cole Gilbert will be a big part of that equation as well as returning senior RHP Matt Feldman. Offense could be a question mark as they lost some major contributors there. Luke Olley will be the top returning offensive threat hitting over .350 in 2014.
