Playoff Roundup: All the action from Division 1 rain shortend sectionals

The weather this season has been down-right awful with teams and coaches struggling to battle the elements and rescheduling conflicts to get a full season in. Well Tuesday’s monster Sectional day was no exception as a number of Sectional’s were unable to finish or got postponed all together before even starting. Here’s a look at what happened on Tuesday.
Division 1
La Crosse Sectional - PPD to Thursday 6/6
Waunakee vs. La Crosse Logan
Holmen vs. Middleton
Oconomowoc Sectional
Sun Prairie 6, Oshkosh West 3
Sun Prairie and Oshkosh West volleyed the lead three times on Tuesday, but Sun Prairie came out on top for a 6-3 win on Tuesday at Roosevelt Field in Oconomowoc.
Zach Fairchild got things started for the Cardinals with a solo homerun in the first inning.
Sun Prairie finally took the lead for good on a two-run single by Justin Krebs, scoring Carter Brekke and Ryan Curran.
Sam Lund was a workhorse on the mound while bagging the win for Sun Prairie. Lund pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, six hits and three walks while striking out four.
Sheboygan South 11, Madison La Follette 4
Jered Reklaitis got the win for Sheboygan South. He allowed four runs over 6 1/3 innings. Reklaitis struck out two, walked one and gave up four hits.
Sheboygan South's Carter Amundsen, Robert Hoffmann, Reklaitiz and Matt Miller combined for 10 hits and eight RBI.
Sectional Championship: Sun Prairie 10, Sheboygan South 0
Sun Prairie jumped out to an early lead on Sheboygan South and captured an easy 10-0 victory to punch their ticket once again in Appleton.
Seven runs in the first three innings allowed Sun Prairie to put the game away early.
An RBI single by Zach Fairchild, a two-run error, and an RBI single by Mike Brekke got things started in the first inning. While another RBI single by Fairchild, and an RBI single by Ryan Curran in the second inning helped Sun Prairie build an early lead.
Fairchild racked up two RBI on two hits for Sun Prairie.
Brett Yoder put together a nice outing, earning the Sectional Championship title for the Cardinals. Yoder gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Badger/Whitewater Sectional
Kenosha Bradford 3, Badger 1
Wisconsin-Milwaukee commit Kevin Tibor got the win for Kenosha Bradford. He allowed one run over seven innings. Tibor struck out eight, walked three and gave up seven hits.
In the first inning, Badger pushed across its only run of the day on an RBI single by Ian Weber.
Jake Costabile got two hits for the Red Devils leading the offensive attack.
Wilmot Union 7, Kenosha Tremper 3
