The No. 19 prospect in the Class of 2013 has just come off the board.

Eric Weisbrod, a left handed hitting outfielder from St. Catherine’s HS in Racine has just committed to Des Moines Area Community College.

Weisbrod is coming off of a spectacular junior season where he was selected All-Racine County Player of the Year, hitting .470 with 35 RBI and 3 home runs.

Weisbrod is a 6-foot, 175-pound outfielder that is very athletic. Weisbrod is a smooth fielding outfielder that runs very efficient routes to the baseball. His arm plays well as he gets on top of the ball exhibiting good carry and staying true to its target. Offensively, Weisbrod swings a smooth left handed stick. He has an efficient inside-out swing that consistently produces line drives to the left-center gap.
