Milwaukee Preseason I.D.: Showcase Preview

The Milwaukee Preseason I.D. is just days away and the roster is shaping up to be as strong as always. Over the years this event has produced some of the top names in the state of Wisconsin and this year should be no different.

The roster is loaded with ranked players from all high school classes in the state. Juniors such as Gavin Lux (Indian Trail), Cyrillo Watson (South Milwaukee) and Ben Rortvedt (Verona Area), all ranked in the top ten of the 2016 class. Also unsigned senior RHP Jacob Kopp (West Bend West) will be looking to improve upon his 87-89 mph fastball we saw out of him in January.

As is the norm every year this event typical unveils many top ranked players that we have yet to see, mostly freshman and sophomores headed into their high school season. Just like with all of our preseason showcases this event will help to identify top players for our preseason player rankings as well as Power 25 Team Rankings.

The event will kick off at noon. With position players running the 60 yard dash. Check-in times are as follows:

Check-in for Position Players:
11:20 AM-11:40 AM

Check-in for Pitchers:
2:20-2:40 PM
