The Midwest Future Games is one of the biggest events of the year for incoming juniors. This year being Wisconsin’s first year in the event, the Badger state was represented by three of the better middle infielders in attendance, one of which was Owen Miller a 2015 product of Ozaukee HS.
Miller is one of the more versatile and reliable infielders in the state. At 6-foot, 165-pounds he shows steady hands and a highly accurate arm. His arm strength is well above average at 82 mph across the infield. He is one of the more sure handed infielders in the state. He makes the routine play with ease and is one of the more consistent players around. With Miller you can always expect consistent play. His steady demeanor and focus play a big role in his success and is suited well for the game of baseball. Miller showed the ability to play all three infield position with natural instincts.
Offensively he has a short path to the baseball and repeats his swing at a high rate. He mostly looks to work the middle of the field, keeping his hands inside the baseball well. You will not find a more consistent infielder in the state than Miller, who looks poised to have plenty of success down the road.
