Waupun 10, Hartford 0
Waupun beat Hartford 10-0 in five innings on Monday after a six-run explosion in the fourth inning.

Jordan Daane racked up three RBI on two hits for Waupun. He singled in the fourth and fifth innings.

Bryce Buchholz pitched lights out for the Warriors. Hartford managed just one hit off of the Warrior pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his five innings of work.

The game was never in doubt after the first, as Waupun scored three runs on an RBI double by Jared Larsen and a two-run single by Buchholz.

Milwaukee Lutheran 13, Racine Lutheran 3
A nine-run explosion in the third inning spurred Milwaukee Lutheran to a 13-3 win in five innings over Racine Lutheran on Monday.

Austin Kath led Milwaukee Lutheran offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored two runs and had two RBI, tripling in the third inning.

Racine Lutheran couldn't get anything going as long as Ryan Selner was on the mound. Selner held Racine Lutheran hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three in relief.

James Wright added three hits and two RBI for the Red Knights.

Burlington 4, Badger 2
An impressive two-way performance from Nolan Friend led the Burlington Demons to a 4-2 win Monday over Badger, as Friend came up huge at the dish and on the bump.

Friend racked up two RBI on two hits for the Demons. He singled in the first and third innings.

On the mound, Friend's eight strikeouts were enough to push Burlington past Badger. Friend allowed one earned run on five hits and no walks over seven innings.

Badger scored on a solo home run by Jonah Zeinert in the fourth inning and a wild pitch in the sixth inning. Unfortunately, not enough to get past Burlington.

Johnson Creek 13, Cambria-Friesland 1
Despite Spencer Bylsma's 2-for-4 performance at the plate on Monday, Cambria-Friesland took a 13-1 loss at the hands of Johnson Creek.

Clayton Uselman got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He pitched five shutout innings. Uselman struck out 11, walked three and gave up one hit.

Johnson Creek was sparked by Tyler Joseph and Tyler Ermath, who teamed up for eight hits and 10 RBI.

The lone run of the game for Cambria-Friesland Hilltoppers Varsity crossed the plate in the sixth inning on an RBI single by John Link.

Wisconsin Dells 6. Mauston 1
Colyn Buss hopes every outing could go as well as Monday, as Buss pitched six shutout innings to carry Wisconsin Dells to a 6-1 victory over the Mauston Golden Eagles.

Wisconsin Dells came out swinging, scoring five runs in the first inning to jump ahead of the Golden Eagles early.

Josh Gray racked up two RBI on two hits for the Chiefs. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Sun Prairie 2, Verona 1
Sun Prairie's offense didn't make it easy on Sam Lund at Verona, providing two runs off of Verona pitching on Monday, but the Sun Prairie starter was still able to get the job done. Lund threw seven innings on the way to the win.

Carter Brekke helped the Cardinals take the lead for good in the seventh inning. Down to their last at bats facing a one run defecit, Conner Funnell was hit by a pitch to get on base in the seventh. He then went from first to second on a single by Michael Marchese. After a Zach Fairchild walk, Brekke came through with a base hit up the middle.

Wisconsin Rapids Assumption 4, Newman Catholic 3
Jared Haas went a perfect 3-for-3 at the dish for Wisconsin Rapids Assumption. He singled in the second, third, and fifth innings.

Newman Catholic couldn't get anything going against Casey Steele. Steele allowed just two hits, no earned runs, walked one and struck out six during his three innings of work.

New Lisbon 5, Wonewoc-Center 0
The Wonewoc-Center Wolves lost 5-0 in seven innings at New Lisbon on Monday.

Casey Krueger led the Wolves offensively going 2-for-4. He singled in the first and third innings.

Cullen Pedersen got the win for New Lisbon. He tossed seven innings of shutout ball. He struck out eight, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Marshall 12, Belleville 2
The Marshall Cardinals refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Belleville, recording a 12-2 victory on Monday.

With nine runs in the first three innings, the Cardinals left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

Connor Blake got the win for Marshall. He allowed two runs over five innings. Blake struck out three, walked one and gave up five hits.

Green Lake/Princeton 9, Omro 2
Cordell Walker powered the Green Lake/Princeton Tigersharks at the plate and on the mound Monday, guiding the Tigersharks to a 9-2 victory over Omro.

It was a good day at the plate for the Walker. He went 3-for-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second and fourth innings.

Walker also picked up the win for the Green Lake/Princeton. Walker allowed two earned runs, eight hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

The offense exploded for the Tigersharks in the fourth scoring seven runs to put the game out of reach.

Westosha Central 5, Elkhorn 2
Westosha Central beat Elkhorn 5-2 in seven innings on Monday at Central behind Justin Barney, who went 2-for-4.

He doubled in the first inning and singled in the sixth inning.

The Falcons relied on James Gorsline to eat up innings en route to the win. Gorsline pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out four.

Westosha Central never trailed after the first, scoring on an RBI single by Marshall Gilbert.

Fennimore 7, Darlington 0
Darlington didn't stand a chance on Monday, as the Fennimore Golden Eagles captured a blowout 7-0 win in seven innings at Fennimore.

The Golden Eagles scored three runs in the sixth on an RBI single by Aaron Swan, a groundout by Ian Streeter, and an RBI single by Kane Klais.

Klais racked up four RBI on three hits for the Golden Eagles.

Fennimore starting pitcher Austin Fifrick kept Darlington off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the hill. He allowed no runs on two hits while striking out six.

Riverside University 3, King 1
Jeremy Gray went 1-for-2 with an RBI, sparking the Riverside University Tigers to a 3-1 victory in seven innings over King on Monday.

Anthony Desarden got the win for the Tigers thanks to 10 strikeouts. Desarden allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk over seven innings.

The lone run of the game for King crossed the plate in the fourth inning on an RBI double by Jordan Lewandowski.

Bruce 12, Flambeau 1
The Flambeau Falcons fell 12-1 to Bruce at Bruce on Monday.

Bruce's Mitch Johnson, Jared Weisser and Carter Chafer combined for five hits and four RBI.

The game was never in doubt after the first, as Bruce scored three runs on a two-run single by Carter Chafer and a bases loaded walk by Bainter.

Sturgeon Bay 8, Sevastopol 7
The Sevastopol Pioneers lost 8-7 in seven innings at Sturgeon Bay on Monday, despite outhitting Sturgeon Bay six to five.

Cody Giesseman racked up four RBI on two hits for Sevastopol. He singled in the third and fourth innings.

Riley Cordier recorded the win for Sturgeon Bay. He allowed two runs over two innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered one hit.

Brillion 13, Wrightstown 6
The Wrightstown Tigers jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 13-6 to Brillion on Monday.

While the Wrightstown Tigers led until the fourth inning, Brillion worked its way back and took the lead on a sacrifice fly by Bob Berghuis.

Dylan Ehnerd was hot from the plate for the Tigers. Ehnerd went 3-for-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second, third, and seventh innings.

Travis Stever got the win for Brillion despite allowing six runs over seven innings. Stever struck out four, walked four and gave up 10 hits.

Brillion's Hunter Popp, Brandon Pribbernow, Tyler Koerth and Berghuis combined for seven hits and eight RBI.

Union Grove 1, Delavan Darien 0
Ben Miller hopes every outing could go as well as Monday, as Miller pitched seven shutout innings to carry Union Grove to a 1-0 victory over Delavan-Darien in 12 innings.

The Bronco pitching was masterful as Miller started going seven innings and posting 13 punch outs with only two hits allowed.

 

Ryan Maier recorded the win in extra innings for the Broncos. He pitched five shutout innings in relief of Miller. Maier struck out eight, walked one and gave up five hits.

Madison East 12, Monroe 5
The Monroe Cheesemakers built an early edge on Monday, but Madison East roared back to steal a 12-5 victory at Monroe.

While the Cheesemakers led until the fourth inning, Madison East worked its way back and took the lead on a wild pitch.

Madison East never surrendered the lead after the fourth inning, scoring eight runs on two doubles, an error, a two-run single by Ryen Hinze, and a wild pitch.

Madison East increased its lead with three runs in the fifth. AJ Barlow kicked things off with a solo blast.

St. Mary Central 5, St. Lawrence 2
Caleb Davidson went 2-for-2, helping St. Mary Central to a 5-2 victory over St. Lawrence on Monday.

Solon Springs 7, Mellen 5
Riley Gibson brought home the winning run to give Solon Springs the lead in the sixth inning, as they hung on to beat Mellen 7-5 on Monday.

Logan Long got the win in relief for Solon Springs. He pitched 2 2/3 innings and allowed one run.

Solon Springs 8, Mellen 0
Solon Springs jumped out to an early lead on Mellen and captured an 8-0 victory on Monday at Solon Springs.

With five runs in the first three innings, Solon Springs left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

Tyler Long was nearly untouchable on the mound. Mellen managed just one hit off of Long, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out seven during his five innings of work.

Merril 4, Wausau East 3
Merrill and Wausau East exchanged leads throughout the game, but Merrill ended up on top with a 4-3 win in eight innings over Wausau East.

Merrill got the extra inning walk of win on a two-run double by Mason Reinhardt off Logan Taylor, scoring Brad Juhlke and Cole Gustke.

Coleton Bloch struck out nine hitters en route to the Merrill win. Bloch allowed one earned run on five hits and two walks over eight innings.

Montello 5, Oshkosh 2
Montello and Oshkosh both had scoring chances on Monday, but it was the Hilltoppers that were able to capitalize on them as it pulled out a 5-2 win.

Carter Daniels got the win for Montello thanks to seven strikeouts. Daniels allowed no earned runs on five hits and four walks over seven innings.
