The game was decided quickly as Memorial exerted its will early with eight runs in the first three innings. An RBI single by Isaiah Cronk and a two-run double by Travis Berg in the first inning and an RBI single by Sam Prissel and an RBI single by Henry Eilen during the second inning helped the Old Abes put some runs on the board early.Berg was perfect at the dish, going 4-4. Zach Johnson kept River Falls off the scoreboard for all six innings he was on the rubber. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on six hits while striking out six. |
