Blugolds jumped out to an early lead on Neilsville and captured an 8-0 victory on Tuesday at Merchants. The game was decided quickly as Blugolds exerted its will early with six runs in the first three innings. An RBI single by Eric Wilson and a three-run error during the second inning fueled the Blugolds' offense early.Tim Bettis racked up two RBIs on two hits for Aquinas. He singled in the second and third innings. Alex Schulte kept Neilsville off the board during his six innings of work. Schulte allowed three hits, one walk and struck out one. |

With 11 runs in the first three innings, the Lightning left no doubt about the eventual outcome. A two-run double by Andrew Buran, an RBI single by CJ Teske, and an RBI single by Ben Wilkins during the first inning and an RBI triple by Buran, an RBI double by CJ Teske, an RBI double by Joe Lipsky, and an RBI double by Sam Shepherd in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Lightning.CJ Teske racked up three RBIs on three hits. |

He allowed four runs over seven innings. Knueppel struck out seven, walked five and gave up six hits. |

Wilkins pitched eight strong innings to carry the Lightning to a 2-1 win over Laconia in eight innings on Tuesday at Ripon College. TJ Hopkins helped the Lightning take the lead for good in the eighth inning. With the score tied at one, Hopkins came to the plate and doubled, bringing home Nate Paffenroth. |

Blugolds' Rott Jr kept Wisconsin Heights off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the rubber. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out four. The Blugolds offense pounded out 11 hits, including two extra base hits. Rott Jr put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits. Rott Jr and Andy Gundersen teamed up for five hits and four RBIs. |
