Class of 2015 already sees its 20th Division 1 commitment

Since Wisconsin’s inception into the PBR coverage area in 2012, the Class of 2015 has been the some-what of the first class that our scouting staff has seen develop since they were just beginning their high school careers as sophomores. Fast forward more than two years later and we have had 20 Division 1 baseball commits from the 2015 class and we are still almost three months away from November’s national signing day.

At the beginning of the year we made five predictions to look for in 2014 and No. 5 was that "More than 15 prospects from Wisconsin’s Class of 2015 will sign Division 1 NLI’s at the early signing period in November of 2014." Needless to say that number will be crushed and eclipsed the 15 mark back in early summer.

The Class of 2015 will get the chance to improve on that commitment list as the Prep Baseball Report will be hosting its Unsigned Senior Showcase on October 11 at Players Choice of the Fox Cities in Appleton, WI. Last year more than 60% of the Unsigned Senior Showcase made college commitments.
