VA/DC Updated Class of 2017 Rankings

Today we update the class of 2017 rankings in our second to last installment before our final update coming up before June's MLB Amateur draft. The rankings expand to 225 in this installment with plenty of movement across the board from top to bottom.
The shuffling began in the top ten with Michael Ludowig (Briar Woods) and Erik Stock (Greenbrier Christian). Ludowig moved up two spots to No. 2 in the rankings and Stock moves up to No. 8 in the rankings.
One of the biggest movers in the rankings is RHP/INF Brad Hanner of Orange County HS (Patrick Henry CC). Hanner has made the biggest jump on the mound pitching up to 89 in front of us and has reportedly been up to 91 this spring season. Currently moved up to No. 16, Hanner is continuing to trend upward and could move even higher before our final update.
Also gaining helium is catcher Nathan Perry of Bassett (High Point). The power hitting catching prospect moved up to No. 11 in this installment of the rankings and is gaining momentum heading into the draft just over a month away.
Two of the biggest newcomers to the rankings come from the Virginia Beach area in Western Branch OF Rufus Hurdle (ODU) and Cape Henry SS Hunter Ramirez (Liberty).
The top uncommitted player in the rankings is OF Khie Simms of Clover Hill HS who recently decommitted and is sitting at the No. 25 spot.
